If you're like me and travel a lot, your passport probably takes a beating. When I first started out traveling, I just threw my passport into my pants pocket or my backpack. However, if I was in a particularly hot locale, my passport would often get sweaty in my pants pocket. If it was in my backpack, no matter how careful I was, it would get bent. Then, I finally decided to buy a travel wallet and passport holder to address these issues. Travel wallets don't have to be expensive, but I still like to buy quality products, and therefore I did quite a bit of research before selecting the DEW Travel Wallet.
DEW Travel Wallet Overview
The DEW Travel Wallet and Passport Holder is essentially an over-sized wallet perfect for keeping passports, travel documents, and some extra credit cards or money safe. The wallet is water resistant, so you don't have to worry about sweat or rain, but I wouldn't go swimming with it. The wallet has a high quality zipper, so nothing will fall out and get lost. The nylon material and construction is very durable and sturdy, so no need to worry about your documents getting damaged inside your backpack or suitcase. The DEW Travel Wallet also features RFID protection to protect your passport and credit cards from thieves.
DEW Travel Wallet Organization
Now, that we've talked about the features that will keep your documents safe, let's get into how the wallet is organized. First, on the outside of the wallet there is a pocket perfect for a cell phone or maybe to keep your passport and airline ticket before boarding. Undo the zipper and unfold the wallet to access its inner compartments. On the left, you will find four pockets perfectly sized for a passport (or 4). Whether you are a family of four or simply a man with many passports, these compartments will prove very useful. If you only need one passport pocket, you could definitely use some of the others for airline tickets, tourist cards, or other travel documents.
On the right side, you will find five smaller pockets perfect for credit and debit cards. Under these compartments there is a zippered pocket for those small and easy to lose items. Along the left side, there is another zippered compartment perfect for cash. There is also a pen holder and key chain.

How I Use My DEW Travel Wallet
After taking a look at those specifications, you may be thinking this wallet is a bit big. You're not wrong, but I don't necessarily think that is a bad thing. This wallet can hold a lot of stuff. If you use it like I do, the size shouldn't be a problem. I generally keep my DEW Travel Wallet in my backpack or carry on luggage. I can slide it in with my laptop or tablet compartment in my backpack. I'll carry it in my hand when I'm in the airport.
Once I'm on the ground, I'll generally leave this wallet in my hotel or apartment. I like to split my resources while traveling. I keep a portion of my cash and credit cards in my DEW Travel Wallet back at the hotel. This way, if I lose my everyday wallet, or even worse get robbed, I still have some cash and credit cards back at the hotel.
One feature that I really like about the DEW Travel Wallet is the zippered cash pocket. Some countries (such as Paraguay and Bolivia) that require cash upon entry for a visa demand that the bills between be 100% crisp with no bends, stains, or anything other marks. Good luck with that in a regular wallet. The durability and stiffness of the Dew Travel Wallet along with the zippered cash pocket will keep your bills in excellent shape.
As you can see, I only have positive things to say about the DEW Travel Wallet. I can confidently recommend this wallet to any frequent travelers. It has really saved me a lot of grief and frustration by keeping me better organized while abroad.
